Hi Everyone. Tim, thanks for your diagram summing up the faith process. I think Earl should include it in his next edition. Very helpful for those of us who grasp a "model" better than words.
Just this morning I was prayerfully meditating on an issue...from my perspective. Then I realized I needed to be focusing on God and who He is (top of the model). When I made the switch and focused on the attributes of God instead of on me and my experices, and my perspective and faith completely changed.
No, the issue I was praying about wasn't the tough question of life: How much did you spend at Starbucks last year? (Had to be in class Sunday to understand the context!) Looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday.
Thanks Al, I think I might bring a poster size rendition of the diagram for the class to respond to over the next few weeks. I'm not sure I've got it quite right but am excited to have us collaborate on the idea. I also appreciated your example from personal experience.
